Etha is project development consultant for the Karsittu solar power project (100 MW solar and 130 MWh battery storage) in Huittinen. Work includes project management, EIA support, layout and energy yield; the zoning plan has gained legal force.
The challenge
The Karsittu solar power farm is being developed by Karsittu Green Energy Oy, with Etha Oy responsible for key development tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
What we did
Etha's role has included project management, stakeholder engagement, support in the Environmental Impact Assessment process, as well as a variety of preliminary assessments for the solar farm.
Outcome
With the zoning plan now approved, the project has progressed to the building permit application phase.
