Sarvikankaan Tuuli Oy: Sarvikangas wind farm development, EIA and transaction advice, Pieksämäki
The Sarvikangas wind farm in Pieksämäki covers 2,860 hectares and is planned for 25 turbines and 200 MW. Etha has been involved since the preliminary studies in 2022 and supports development, EIA, land-use planning and the search for investors.
The challenge
Since 2022, one of the easternmost wind farms in Finland has been under development in Pieksämäki.
What we did
Etha was involved in the project from the very beginning, engaged as the project development consultant, with all of Etha's teams taking part.
Outcome
In April 2024, the project's environmental impact assessment (EIA) process was completed, and a co-operation agreement with the investor was signed.
