Natur og Samfunn assessed the natural environment impacts of extending an existing quarry at Rafsbotn in Alta and described mitigation measures.

An extension to an existing quarry was being planned in Rafsbotn, Alta municipality.
What we did
An impact assessment covering the natural environment was carried out. Mitigation measures were described, and the development was assessed against Chapter II of the Norwegian Nature Diversity Act.
