Tidaholms kommun: Siggestorp landfill capping and water management design, Tidaholm
The former municipal landfill is being capped to reduce leachate, with new ditches for stormwater. Relement, with Structor Miljö Öst, designed the capping and water management and prepared tender documents for the final 30,000 m² stage.
The challenge
Tidaholms kommun's former municipal landfill at Siggestorp is being closed. Waste is being covered with an impermeable layer and clean soil to reduce leachate formation.
What we did
Together with Structor Miljö Öst, Relement designed the final cover and water management and prepared tender documents for the final landfill phase. The work included preliminary design, surveying, a detailed excavation and materials management plan, and drawings.
