A new combined residential and office building about 100 metres from Avenyn. Westberg provided project support, risk analysis, pre- and post-inspections, vibration monitoring, damage investigations and handling of Kretslopp och Vatten's infrastructure.
The challenge
A combined residential and office property was being built approximately 100 metres from Avenyn in central Gothenburg. The work involved vibration-generating blasting, excavation and compaction in a densely built-up area.
What we did
Westberg provided project support, prepared a risk analysis and carried out pre- and post-work inspections of nearby buildings, vibration measurements and damage investigations. Westberg also handled matters relating to Kretslopp & Vatten's infrastructure.
